Am I a Good Candidate?

Our knee specialists are passionate about empowering patients through education regarding the various non-surgical treatment options available to them.  Our focus is on treatments that can help alleviate your symptoms, mitigate against the risk of future joint damage, and extend the lifetime of your natural knee.

If you can answer “yes” to any of the following questions, you are a good candidate to see us for a knee evaluation:

  • Do you have knee discomfort that worsens when you are active and improves when you rest?
  • Do your knees feel stiff in the morning or after sitting for prolonged periods?
  • Does cracking or popping occur when moving your knee?
  • Does your job involve repetitive bending & lifting?
  • Have you had a prior ACL rupture or meniscus tear?
  • Have you played competitive sports?
  • Are you over the age of 50 and highly active?
  • Even if you currently don’t have any knee symptoms, do you want to find out how healthy your knees are and learn how to prevent problems from developing in the future?

Regarding insurance: we accept Medicare, however, we aren’t able to accept Medicaid at this time.

  • Here are the insurance plans we are in network with:
  • If you’ve had total knee replacement surgery, a physical therapy evaluation will help, but we are unable to offer the rest of our non-surgical treatments for knees.

Your Pain Relief Starts Here

Did you know that 40% of people with osteoarthritis who have irreversible structural damage to the knee joint have no symptoms?

The initial 15-20 years of OA are ‘clinically silent’, meaning people may not experience any of the typical symptoms such as stiffness, pain, or problems with motion. Anyone who played sports in high school or college (or professionally) is at high risk of knee OA 10-15 years later.  Since the peak demographic for ACL injuries is in teenagers, by the time they are in their late 20s or early 30s, 50% of them will have irreversible damage to the cartilage.

Don’t wait until the pain is affecting your lifestyle. To minimize joint damage, you should have your knee(s) evaluated before symptoms even begin. Treatments are most effective in the early stages.

Our knee specialists will work to determine the source of knee pain, as well as provide treatment plans specific to your situation. Some of the services we offer are:

Ultrasound Knee Assessment

A non-invasive way to identify the source of knee pain and the overall condition of the joint.

Joint Fluid Therapy

Helps reduce inflammation, lubricates the joint and provides protective cushioning.

Ozone Therapy

Reduces inflammation, relieves pain, and deactivates the enzymes that break down cartilage tissue.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists are experts in identifying compensation patterns and will customize a treatment plan to reduce pain and increase overall knee function for the long term.

Knee Bracing

Can help realign and reduce contact stress on the most damaged and painful part of the joint.
